Thanks to the tip from Squid Shark our US Senators on Friday by a vote of 79 – 21 decided to keep on spending our taxpayer dollars on pet projects and special interests.
So as with all previous spending bills the Senate can still insert all their little projects by earmarking money to their district. Obama and Clinton tried to play like they were reformers too, despite bringing home $400+ million dollars in pork just this last year. Obama even got a multi-million dollar investment in the University of Chicago hospital, after which his wife got a $200,000 raise… as Vice President for Community Relations for that same hospital.

Contact your Senator(s) and let them know how fiscally irresponsible this action was not to pass. And just think they took your tax money to spend it on projects that they are associated with. Good riddance
